CONCRETE STRUCTURAL REPAIRS: SLAB CONCRETE REPAIRS INCLUDE REMOVAL OF LOOSE SPALLED CONCRETE AND RUSTED WIRE MESH AT THE UNDERSIDE OF THE SLAB. PROVIDE AND INSTALL NEW HORIZONTALLY PLACED REBARS DRILLED AND SET INTO THE EXISTING CONCRETE ENCASEMENT OF THE STEEL BEAMS/CHANNELS. APPLY BONDING COMPOUND TO EXISTING CLEANED CONCRETE SURFACES AND RUST INHIBITOR TO THE REINFORCEMENT. FORM THE BOTTOM OF THE ENHANCED SLAB AND PUMP IN THE CONCRETE FOR THE NEW 3 INCH ADDITIONAL THICKNESS TO THE UNDERSIDE OF THE SLAB. THERE ARE SEVERAL PIPES/CONDUITS HUNG FROM THE SLAB AND/OR ARE SUPPORTED FROM THE SLAB-ON-GRADE BELOW. THE CONTRACTOR WILL BE REQUIRED TO WORK AROUND THESE FEATURES AND SHOULD BECOME THOROUGHLY FAMILIAR WITH THE EXISTING CONDITIONS PRIOR TO BIDDING
