THIS ACQUISITION IS FOR THE PROCUREMENT OF A TWO (2) PATTERN RECOGNITION CONTROLLERS WITH ASSOCIATED HARDWARE AND ENGINEERING WORK. IT IS PART OF THE DEKA ADVANCED PROSTHETIC ARM PROGRAM OF THE VA AND DARPA FOR INTUITIVE CONTROL OF MUSCLE SIGNALS USING ADVANCED PATTERN RECOGNITION. NATURAL INTENTIONS ARE WHAT GUIDE THE PROSTHESIS.
