IGF::OT::IGF REAL ESTATE SUPPORT SERVICES MODIFICATION CLOSEOUT AND DEOBLIGATION

Base award description: IGF::OT::IGF VA HAS AS ITS UNIQUE MISSION THE DELIVERY OF COMPREHENSIVE ASSISTANCE AND BENEFITS TO THE NATIONS VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES. THROUGH ITS VETERANS HEALTH ADMINISTRATION, THE VA IS ONE OF THE LARGEST DIRECT PROVIDERS OF HEALTH CARE IN THE WORLD. THE DEPARTMENT IS ALSO A MAJOR LAND HOLDING AGENCY, WITH AN EXTENSIVE AND DIVERSE PORTFOLIO OF PROPERTIES INCLUDING OVER 34,000 ACRES OF LAND AND OVER 7,700 OWNED AND LEASED BUILDINGS AT APPROXIMATELY 300 LOCATIONS NATIONWIDE. A LARGE PORTION OF VAS LEASE PROCUREMENTS AND ALL OF ITS LAND ACQUISITION, DISPOSAL, AND MANAGEMENT ACTIVITIES, TAKE PLACE AT RPS. AS THE NUMBER OF LEASING AND LAND ACTIONS GROWS OVER TIME, THE RESOURCES AVAILABLE HAVE NOT KEPT PACE. THEREFORE, REAL ESTATE SUPPORT SERVICES FOR RPS ARE NEEDED
