A TOTAL OF $167,500 WAS REQUESTED FOR THE STATE VETERANS' HOME IN PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON. WDVA IS PROPOSING PROVIDING A $4,500 TOTAL RECRUITMENT INCENTIVE FOR NEW, FULL-TIME, PERMANENT NAC AT THE HOME. A $3,000 RETENTION INCENTIVE PAYMENT WOULD BE PROVIDED TO EXISTING, FULL-TIME, PERMENANT STAFF AT THE HOME WHO HAVE WORKED AT LEAST ONE CALENDAR YEAR AS A NAC AND HAVE COMPLETED AN ANNUAL PERFORMANCE DEVELOPMENT EVALUATION. NO PAYBACK WILL BE REQUIRED AS EACH INSTALLMENT OF $750 IS IN RECOGNITION OF THE QUARTER WORKED BY THE NAC. WDVA RECOGNIZES THE NEED TO INCREASE RECRUITMENT FOR NACS AND RNS AND LPNS WORKING OUTSIDE THE LOCAL AREA. AN INCENTIVE WILL BE GIVEN TO THESE PERSONNEL BASED ON DISTANCE FROM THE LOCAL AREA.
