TOTAL REQUEST WAS $232,990 OF WHICH THE VA WILL PAY HALF OR $116,495 AND THE SVH WILL CONTRIBUTE THE OTHER HALF. FUNDS WILL BE USED FOR THE HONOR HEALTH CAREER PROGRAM TO PROVIDE TRAINING TO ASSIST CNAS WITH TRANSITION TO LPNS. IT ALSO PROVIDES DIRECT RECRUITMENT INCENTIVES FOR NEWLY HIRED RNS, LPNS, AND CNAS (PAID AFTER 30 DAYS OF HIRE AND UPON COMPLETION OF 90 DAY PROBATIONARY PERIOD) AND REFERRAL BONUSES.
