TOTAL REQUEST WAS $380,000 OF WHICH THE VA WILL PAY HALF OR $190,000 AND THE SVH WILL CONTRIBUTE THE OTHER HALF. THE PROGRAM INCLUDES A REFERRAL INCENTIVE PLAN AND RETENTION BONUSES. THE REFERRAL INCENTIVE WILL BE USED TO ATTRACT CNA/LPNS AND BE GIVEN TO NURSING EMPLOYEES FOR EACH NEW HIRE REFERRED ONCE THE REFERRED NEW HIRE HAS COMPLETED THEIR 6-MONTH PROBATIONARY PERIOD. RETENTION BONUSES ARE GIVEN TO RETAIN RECENTLY HIRED CNAS ($10,000) AND LPNS ($15,000) WHO AGREE TO WORK FOR TSVH FOR A ONE-YEAR PERIOD.
