TOTAL REQUEST WAS $122,266 OF WHICH THE VA WILL PAY HALF OR $61,133 AND THE SVH WILL CONTRIBUTE THE OTHER HALF. THIS WILL PROVIDE FUNDS FOR MERITORIOUS BONUSES, SIGN-ON BONUSES FOR NEW EMPLOYEES, AND A WEEKEND WARRIOR DIRECT CARE PROVIDER PROGRAM. FUNDS WILL PROVIDE BONUSES TO AWARD HIGH PERFORMING EMPLOYEES AND STAFF REFERRAL AND MENTORSHIP BONUSES. FUNDS WILL ALSO BE USED TO PAY SIGN-ON BONUSES FOR NEW HIRES. THE WEEKEND WARRIOR PROGRAM WILL BE USED TO INCENTIVIZE PERSONNEL TO WORK EVENING AND NIGHT SHIFTS DURING THE WEEKENDS.
