Description
TOTAL REQUEST WAS $320,756.16 OF WHICH VA WILL PAY HALF OR $160,378.08 AND SVH WILL CONTRIBUTE THE OTHER HALF. THEIR PROGRAM WILL CONSIST OF A HIRING INCENTIVE, A WEEKEND AND OVERNIGHT INCENTIVE, AND AN INTERNAL STEP PAY PLAN. THE HIRING INCENTIVE PROVIDES $5,000 SIGN-ON BONUS PAID IN INCREMENTS DURING THE EMPLOYEE'S FIRST YEAR OF EMPLOYEMENT. THE WEEKEND AND OVERNIGHT INCENTIVE WILL PROVIDE A 10% CONDITIONAL PAY SUPPLEMENT FOR HOURS WORKED DURING HARD TO FILL PERIODS. THE STEP PAY PLAN WILL PROVIDE STEP INCREASES BASED ON TIME WORKED AND PERFORMANCE RATINGS OF "MEETS EXPECTATIONS" OR HIGHER.
