TOTAL REQUEST WAS $238,150 OF WHICH VA WILL PAY HALF OR $119,075 AND SVH WILL CONTRIBUTE THE OTHER $119,075. EDUCATION FUNDS OF $23,175 WILL BE USED FOR 12 SCHOLARSHIPS, SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT AND THE BONUS PROGRAM, $95,900. THE BONUS PROGRAM WILL INCLUDE A RECRUITING STIPEND OF $67,500 TO USE FOR ATTRACTING NEW HIRES AND REFERRAL BONUSES OF $28,400. EACH LPN STUDENT WILL SIGN AN AGREEMENT TO WORK AT THE HOME FOR AN ADDITIONAL 2 YEARS AFTER COMPLETION OF THE PROGRAM.
