Description
A GRANT OF UP TO $16,712,172 TO THE STATE OF ALASKA FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE INTERIOR ALASKA VETERANS CEMETERY IN FAIRBANKS, ALASKA. THE CEMETERY SERVES MORE THAN 12,000 VETERANS AND THEIR ELIGIBLE FAMILY MEMBERS IN THE REGION. THE GRANT WILL FUND 600 COLUMBARIUM NICHES, 279 IN-GROUND CREMAINS GRAVESITES, ADMINISTRATION BUILDING, MAINTENANCE BUILDING AND YARD, COMMITTAL SERVICE SHELTER, ENTRY MONUMENT AND GATES, MEMORIAL WALL, MEMORIAL WALK, FLAG ASSEMBLY AREA, EQUIPMENT TO OPERATE THE CEMETERY, ROADWAYS, LANDSCAPING, SITE FURNISHINGS STORMWATER MANAGEMENT, AND ASSOCIATED INFRASTRUCTURE.
